NI tweets remind me of my long lost old friend. This friend greets me two three times a year only during Christmas, thanks giving day, Independence day, telling that he is still hanging around. That is the only similarity.

Twitter is for connecting, bringing update information in few seconds. There has been zero information tweeted by NI so far, apart from as usual “coming soon” garbage.

NDA actually means Never Developed Adam and this time NI did not lie. NDA restricts NI to show an actual existing Adam.

I really would have liked to see them succeed, sort of a feel-good thing. After all, my interest in this tablet is what got me into this mess to begin with. It had a hardware configuration and stylish, friendly software that was miles ahead of the competition. On paper. Was it just executed and manufactured with as many corners cut as possible? ie Rohan intentionally cheating everyone. Or did they just make a few too many promises and get a bit overwhelmed?

Either way they fucked up..

Unfortunately some things are too good to be true. Starting things off all over again the same way in which you failed, and expecting a different outcome, is often said to be a definition of insanity…

Anyway, Rohan ignores ALL emails from me. Not much I can do but start blogging. Sorry i couldnt help further guys. You see, this slimy businessman promised to handle each and every support request that I forwarded to him in exchange for me ceasing writing on this site. Guess what? I stopped posting, and he stopped responding.

Expect a lot more activity around here. We are still committed to fighting the fight for all you little guys who got ripped off.

So what it actually meant?
The above said support system which is tried, tested and trusted by big corporations took only 4 months because NI did their own testing. One reader posted on conclave that he can set up the same system in 30 flat minutes. I also installed the same support system in order to find out whether NI or conclave poster was right. Alas! Rohan did not tell the truth as usual. One thing puzzles me that Rohan claimed that they have 100+ team and even then NI took 4 months. And this system was down and Rohan claimed that “Support is up again”.  However, in the post, he mentions NI completed the migration. I love this scam master.
If you look at the time stamp on articles in support system, those are dated back in July. Somethings never change .

Oh, yes I forgot, meanwhile 100+ army was working on ICS in the background and some ground breaking, puzzling riddles like long forgotten Genesis market, DIY, BLISS, educational content, email innovation for Business people and lot of coming soon, exhaustive list.

ICS- Yes, you ice-cream sandwich lovers. Google’s is at fault that they released it 2 weeks late, NVidia is to blame because of no driver support, my fault because I bought it. Rohan has habit of over promising things based on some assumptions. I understand that Google released it late, NVidia has kept community waiting. But why to over promise and under deliver. Worst of all, now he has clearly stated that TR will deliver ICS to Adam. But the question he what NI was doing for past 8 months when Rohan claimed that they working on ICS related stuff.

NI started with a Novel idea but could not turn idea into working tablet. They had access to source but they delivered a dud. They were first but in last 8-10 months, others ( I do not call them competitors because Adam is a failed device, never in competion) have launched plethora of tablets. Adam is still there while others have finished the first lap and now running second lap.

A small company has meanwhile launched the tablet with ICS, yes you heard it right, with ICS while NI is still struggling (blaming Google and NVidia).

In the beginning of 2010, Rohan promised that he wanted to make Adam a universal gadget. Yes, it is universal now. Just like a brick which you find everywhere on this planet. Adam is a brick.

No, that is the not the truth. Truth is that Rohan is a great con, scam artist. He is a psychic scam artist.

One of the best facts about psychic scam artists is the fact that virtually no-one ever asks them to prove their abilities.

If someone asks a question you are unable to answer then you can fake your way out of the predicament by saying that your powers don’t work like that.

You then simply continue babbling about a load of rubbish whilst taking their money from them.

The hot tip for faking psychic readings is to be vague – as soon as you start giving out any useful information you’re gonna get yourself into trouble.

You can see how easy it is to appear to be psychic by watching Derren Brown.

All these followers are smart people, geeks. They are smart, they think they are good at reading people and  know those claims promising “great, once-in-a-lifetime opportunities” are pure bunk.

But that doesn’t mean these smart people are safe from scams. “Smart people never think it’s going to happen to them. They think only the greedy, gullible or brain-dead would get scammed,” said Dennis M. Marlock, a retired police officer and author of “How to Become a Professional Con Artist.”

Rohan is a sophisticated con artist. He can snare intelligent consumers because he is master of human nature, can size up it’s prey and will say what you want to hear and make it highly believable.  His scam is IQ-proof because the con artist work remotely.

The other reason that these smart people defend Rohan and NI could be “Stockholm syndrome”. Rohan took all of us hostage by weaving a dream for 2 years. Dream which every tablet users wants to be a reality. He took our money and we poor hostages fell into his trap.

I’ve taken the following definition from wikipedia.

In psychology, Stockholm syndrome is a term used to describe a real paradoxical psychological phenomenon wherein hostages express empathy and have positive feelings towards their captors, sometimes to the point of defending them. These feelings are generally considered irrational in light of the danger or risk endured by the victims, who essentially mistake a lack of abuse from their captors for an act of kindness.

On another note, I’ve been in touch with NI insider. Michelle, Shahid and rest of the support staff are not actual people. In fact, few fresher MBA’s (2 people) who are intern at NI. They have strict guidelines when to reply and what to reply and which alias to use.
